Introduction Medical Qigong Therapy
This first course is designed to introduce the
student to basic energy cultivation techniques,
how to strengthen the protective energy field
(wei qi), and the techniques used to avoid absorbing
toxic qi.
This class involves training the body, mind,
qi (energy) and spirit simultaneously, starting
with cleansing stagnant and negative qi and
emotions accumulated by stress and tension.
These exercises use sound as one of the ways
to break up stagnation.
From there, you learn to gather and cultivate
internal energy and last to regulate this energy.
When practiced daily, these exercises improve
the immune system, mental well being and increase
vitality.
Qigong is done with slow fluid movements designed
for all ages and is an excellent preventative
