In the old tv series "Kung Fu" the blind master would be
attacked by opponents who would try to hit him on the head
with staffs or shoot him with arrows. No one had to tell him
where the attack was coming from. He always knew
and could intercept or dodge the blow.
This was not intuition. It was openness. He was so
sensitive to his environment that, as each new form
entered it, he automatically established balance.
And he did so not from his mind,
but a much deeper place.
